Herd Sire PCF Genesis
We acquired PCF Genesis from Ms. Linda Coffman, Registrar for the AMJR, in 2006 after we lost our beloved Stonewall Jackson. We attempted to purchase a Mammoth jack that exemplified the "old-type" Jackstock conformation and personality attributes. We also wanted to breed with some of the finest bloodlines available. Genesis is a pleasure to handle, although safety is always foremost when dealing with intact jacks. Genesis breeds mares and jennets with equal ease, and his first mule babies out of our mares arrived in March of 2008. We are breeding draft and saddle mares to Genesis so check Our Stock page for news and pictures of "new arrivals" often.

The rich history of American Mammoth Jackstock: the development and unique qualities of the breed, combined with their vital role in the early development of our country is well documented in the records of the American Mammoth Jackstock Registry. Through an increasing effort to expose this little-known part of America's cultural history, AMJR is dedicated to perpetuating Jackstock for the enjoyment of future generations, and gaining broader recognition for the breed's historic significance. The American Livestock Breeds Conservancy approximates the world population of American Mammoth Jackstock to be about 2,000.
